Twenty Four Issue

 

CRSK Journal

It is a quarterly journal. First number was issued on January 2003. Every number includes subjects, and reportages about issues and events related to Kuwait’s history accompanied with  historic documents published for the first time. The journal also embraces rare historical anecdotes, which interest the reader and reveal information, details and facts which escaped those who wrote old and modern Kuwait’s history.  This Journal also defines the political history sources of Kuwait and the Gulf area such as British, India, Russian, German, and Turkish archives.    

In short, Resalat al-Kuwait  (Kuwait Journal)  is an open  window that looks over Kuwait and the world around; It is an open invitation to Kuwait’s citizens to introduce to CRSK political, economic and historic documents they have so that authentication becomes the responsibility of all . In addition to the usual sections, the journal includes:

Twenty Two  Issue:

Kuwaiti Broadcasting Station in Ten Years (1951 - 1961) accompanied by documents; Kuwait House in Cairo: A new Stage June 1959 accompanied by photos asnd documents; The Kuwaiti Poet Mahmoud Shawqi al-Ayobi (1901 - 1966) with specimen of his poems; The meeting of CRSK Board of Directors ; New Arabic & English Books added to CRSK Library; A full list of CRSK publications in different versions.

Kuwait’s News in Bahrain Journal: 1950- 1954, The Origins of Cinemas in Kuwait,  CRSK Obtains Sheikh Salem al-Ali al-Sabah’s  Informatics Reward (2007), Kuwait and Pearls: The Revenues of 1933 Season, New Arabic & English BKs added to CRSK Library, New CRSK publications .      

 

 

Twenty Four  Issue:

The Supreme Executive Committee 19/7/1954 - 5/12/1955 including photos of its members/   Freya Stark Letters 1932 &1937/Al-Yamamah Journal published in Saudi Arabia- reflects the development of the educational movement in Kuwait /Report No 24 of the Secretariat of the Documentation Centre of GCC/ New books added to CRSK Library.
